“Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.”
William Wordsworth

Letter to his wife Mary Hutchinson, 1808

Hi, I’m Amruta a hospitality professional by path, a writer by soul, and a quiet collector of stories.

For over 17 years, I’ve worked in the rhythm of hotels, managing people, processes, and the many moving parts of a demanding industry. With a Master’s degree in International Hospitality Management from London, my career has taken me through structured spaces and busy boardrooms.

But long before any title or timeline, I found comfort in words.

amrutawrites.com is where I slow down. Where I meet myself in stillness and write about fleeting thoughts, everyday beauty, the people who shape me, and the moments that stir something deeper. Writing, for me, is not about performance it’s presence.

I also find joy in painting and reading quiet rituals that help me notice the world more gently, more truthfully.

Outside the page and the professional world, I’m a mother to a lovely daughter, living a fulfilling life with my loving husband and a caring family. I’m surrounded by a small circle of good friends the kind you can count on, the kind that feel like home. It’s a life of warmth, gratitude, and quiet joys and I carry it with me into everything I do.
